who are represented, despite their birth and heritage, cannot legally call their work Native American made. The United States Government has signed The Indian Arts and Crafts Act into law as a means to put a stop to the fraud that takes place by many sellers of Native American jewelry. This law has made if difficult for many
American Indian jewelry artists to secure the proper tribal registration and identification due to the lengthy and costly process. The Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 is a US law against passing off fake American Indian crafts as genuine. What constitutes Indian art fraud, and how to report it if you find it.
Authenticity of every Native American Jewelry item we sell
is confirmed by our buyers in person. We only by from the Indian
jewelry artists direct or from reputable Indian jewelry dealers

and Zuni Regions. Buying in person allows us to confirm the
Indian jewelry authenticity, and also allows us to hand select
the finest Indian jewelry, the finest gemstones. While many of
our Native American jewelry artists do have the proper
registration and census number, some of them do not. We
therefore submit the below disclaimer to ensure complete legal
compliance with the Act.
